Victim Assaulted, Robbed By Pair Behind Weiss Grocery Store In St. Mary's County: Sheriff

Two people have been arrested in an assault-robbery in St. Mary's County over the weekend, authorities said.

Shannyn Elizabeth Dulemba, 40, and Jamaze Jovan Wood, 25, knocked the victim to the ground, physically assaulted him, and then robbed him of his wallet around 4:50 p.m. behind the Weiss grocery store at the St. Mary's Square shopping center in Lexington Park Saturday, Jan. 27, the county sheriff's office said.

Following the initial interview with deputies, the victim was transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for medical treatment.

Dulemba and Wood were arrested and taken to St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center and charged with Robbery, Assault First Degree, Assault Second Degree, Theft, and related CDS: Possession Not Cannabis violations.
